“My dear, love yourself.”















The Sleeping Beauty Project exists within the New Art City (NAC), an online digital art gallery that helps artists and curators install and display digital art by providing an online 3D digital space.





I created a fairytale digital world within the New Art City, where I combine various abstract and concrete art practices to enrich and deepen my inner expression through environments, sounds, dialogues, exploration, and more. Audiences can navigate and explore using the "WASD" keys and mouse on any computer, as well as hover controls on mobile devices, covering nearly all electronic devices, making exploration more convenient and portable. Additionally, audiences can access the project anytime, anywhere, free from the constraints of time, location, and weather.



Upon pressing the keys, viewers gain authorization to explore the digital space of the Sleeping Beauty Project. Unlike traditional exhibition spaces where viewers remain independent entities outside of the artwork, here, viewers become part of the artwork itself, participating in its expression. The New Art City also provides an online chat room feature, allowing viewers not only to see other viewers but also to communicate with them.








The project, inspired by the creator's personal journey through severe depression, manifests as an immersive digital space named "Sleeping Beauty" within the New Art City. Through fairytale aesthetics, it explores the reality of depression while aiming to dismantle stereotypes and provide empathy and support. The digital world, devoid of human forms, invites audiences to interact with various props and narratives, fostering deeper engagement and reflection. By integrating subjective experiences, including societal discrimination and cognitive distortions, the project seeks to facilitate healing and understanding for both general audiences and individuals with depression. Notably, a dialogue inspired by interactions with depression patients is included to illustrate the journey of psychological healing and challenge discriminatory attitudes.
